Production Manager
As the Production Manager, you will schedule and coordinate the plant’s manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company objectives and customer expectations. You must be exceptionally detail oriented and able to lead a team, serving as liaison between all plant personnel, quality, project management, design & engineering and management. Dedication to attaining operational excellence and have a genuine interest and drive in achieving success.

You must be exceptionally detail oriented and able to lead a team, serving as liaison between all plant personnel, quality, project management, design & engineering and management. Dedication to attaining operational excellence and have a genuine interest and drive in achieving success.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills are required for this role. A motivational, innovative and entrepreneurial individual, with a strong understanding of people management and operational target setting.
Main Duties
• Implement, oversee and enforce production processes across all manufacturing departments to meet quality and efficiency goals
• Utilize MRP systems to prepare and manage production schedules
• Prepare and update capacity reports; determine and allocate resources to provide on time delivery
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize material flow
• Drive Lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations
• Plan, coordinate, direct and operate optimal day-to-day operations to meet customer standards
• Manage Quality Control procedures to uphold product standards
• Maintain a safe working environment for all employees and ensure that employees follow established safety guidelines and requirements. Co-Chair of the Health & Safety Committee.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity
• Lead and motivate direct reports
Qualifications
• 5+ years in a management role in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge of mill, acrylic and steel fabrication processes
• Proven motivational and collaborative leadership skills with strong interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability facilitate effective meetings, and achieve success
• Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement
• Ability to fabricate solutions to production challenges
• Strong background in managing safety
• Knowledge of quality systems and ISO standards
